This year Local 304 has continued their relationship with American Home Life. American Income Life gives each Member a FREE $2,000 accidental life policy.
Since 1994 our income and membership continues to drop, while expenses are increasing. In order for Local 304 to continue enjoy these excellent member benefits, it is very important to reverse this trend by telling, clerks, maintenance, MVS drivers, supervisors, and managers, and any federal employees about our great MAIL HANDLER INSURANCE PLAN. forty-four (40) percent of our income comes from Associate membership dues from the MAIL HANDLERS BENEFIT PLAN.
You also can help by inviting any Mail Handler you know who is not a Union Member to become a Member.
Facts:
Union Members earn twenty-six (26) percent more that their Non-Union counterparts. More that seventy-five (75) percent of Union workers have health benefits, less that half Non Union workers have health benefits.
FACT: Postal workers pay less for insurance that other federal workers do. Your Union negotiated this.
Remember you can help! Sign up a new Member. Tell everyone about our great Mail Handler Benefit Plan.
